Overview

The Stan­dards of Care in­cludes dis­cus­sion of ev­i­dence and clin­i­cal prac­tice rec­om­men­da­tions in­tend­ed to op­ti­mize care for peo­ple with di­a­betes by as­sist­ing providers and in­di­vid­u­als in mak­ing shared de­ci­sions about di­a­betes care. The rec­om­men­da­tions are in­formed by a sys­tem­at­ic re­view of ev­i­dence and an as­sess­ment of the beneļ¬ts and risks of al­ter­na­tive care op­tions.
